Description
I dyed four pans of 21 and 23 micron Merino wool and Tussah silk to create a gradient of golden brown, olive, sage, and forest green, mint green and teal, aqua, blue, purple, and plum especially for this mini batt set. Each batt contains a colourful mix of recycled sari silk fibres.
Each batt contains: 80% Merino wool, 15% Tussah silk, and 5% recycled sari silk fibres. Each batt has been run through the carder 3 times.
Each batt weighs 25g (0.88oz) and has been carded by me on my manual drum carder.
You will receive a set just like the one pictured.
The 12 batts will come presented in an opaque glassine paper bag.
Total fibre weight: 300g (10.5oz) 12 x 25g (12 x 0.88oz)
These batts are suitable for spinning and felting. Please take care when soaking your spun yarn. Soak your yarn in room temperature water with a mild wool detergent. Colours may bleed so soak and wash your items separately.
