Description
'Marmalade Retrograde' is a gradient of navy blue, purple, plum, deep pink, orange, mustard yellow, and olive green, dyed on a base of grey recycled wool top. There are patches of the natural grey base.
This grey recycled wool is a mix of 90% remnant wool fibres and 10% 'other' fibres that the mill has collected and recombed into a usable top for spinning and felting. As it's a mix of different breeds it has a micron count of 26 - 30.

Please note:
After dyeing, and my fibres have cooled, they are rinsed in room-temperature water to remove residual citric acid and to check for colourfastness. Exposure to hot water may cause some colour release (this is normal). To help preserve the colour, always wash finished wool projects gently in room-temperature water using a mild wool wash. Avoid hot water and agitation, unless you want your fibres to felt.
