4 mini batts and 4 mini braids for you to spin or felt! 

These little sets are ideal for you to practice spinning with, or for trying out new techniques.

There's 200g (7oz) of fibre in each set.

The mini batts weigh approximately 25g (0.88oz) each and are made with remnant Merino wool (my own hand dyed wool and commercially dyed wool). They may also contain tussah silk fibre, Mulberry silk fibre, and recycled sari silk fibres. 

The braided top/roving weigh approximately 25g each and have been hand dyed by me. The braids are a mix of 100% Merino, and a blend of 70%/30% Merino and Tussah silk. 

Batt & Braid set #1 is a mix of neon brights.

Frequently asked questions

If you're in the USA, the price you see includes the 10% tariff charge. When I process your order, I pay the tariff to Royal Mail, who then pass it on. When your parcel is delivered, you do not need to pay for the tariff as you have already paid for it.

I don't collect tax

I'm no longer sending orders to the EU. I'm so sorry.

All my orders are currently sent in brown Kraft paper mailers - UK and international. I also use cardboard boxes and I may also reuse old boxes for larger orders. Kraft paper mailers are splash proof but they probably won't survive being left out in the rain. From years of sending plastic mailers, I can tell you that not even plastic mailers can keep the water out. If you can, please have a safe place for your parcel to be left - I'd be happy to write a note for the postie on the mailer.

Currently, all my fibres are packaged in glassine paper bags.

Glassine paper is easily recyclable, and also compostable

If I run out of glassine bags or I've had a big order, I may need to pack the fibre in to a large plastic bag to make it easier to send as it helps pack the fibres in tightly.

YES! and it always has been.

My batts are made from commercially dyed 21-micron Merino sourced from South American flocks.

My 23-micron belnded top is from non-mulesed South African Merino flocks.
