Description
A set of four 25g (0.88oz) art batts made with a mixture of fine wools and silks.
Each one contains ~85% wool fibres and ~15% silk fibres (which may include textured add-ins like silk noil, silk laps, hand-dyed yarn scraps, and recycled sari silk fibre). All fibres are a mix of commercially dyed fibres and fibres dyed by me.
These sets were created on a whim with whichever colourful fibres I have on hand. I don't follow a recipe when I make these, so I'm unable to recreate them. However, I may do something similar in the future.
The fine wools used are mostly 21 micron and 23 micron Merino wool, but they may also include Bluefaced Leicester, Cormo, Punta Arenas, Shetland, and Rambouillet wools.
Each batt has been carded at least twice by me on my manual Classic Carder drumcarder.
You will receive the set pictured, weighing 100g (3.5oz) in total
