Presented in a white cupcake window box, this 'Sparkly Mystical' set contains a gradient of 12 little sparkly batts for spinning and felting. Starting with a rusty orange mix then moving into pink, purple, blue, and ending with a deep forest green.
Made with a mix of 21 micron Merino wool, mixed dyed silk top, hand dyed silk noils, recycled sari silk fibre, angelina sparkles, and hand dyed trilobal nylon.
If you're like me and you keep your spinning stash on the coffee table or on the dresser so you can admire it, you might like these cupcake boxes.
As the name suggests, these boxes are designed for displaying cupcakes, but I think they work even better for displaying mini batts. Better still, the batts won't spoil or leave a mess so you can keep the box safe for storing your other fibres. These boxes are not single use.
I've worked hard over the past few years to make my packaging as plastic free as possible, so I was a little conflicted about offering these batts in a box with a plastic window. If you want to spin your fibres right away, I do have these available in opaque glassine paper bags.
Each batt weighs 25g (0.88oz) and has been carded by me on my manual drum carder.
