Description
This set is inspired by my Neon Tetra batts. I love the pops of neon silk noils in my dark batts, but it's not always easy transferring the colours to combed top without the results looking muddy. So I created this plying set.
It contains 1 x 100g (3.5oz) braid dyed as a mirror gradient of midnight blue, teal, and vibrant green and 1 x 50g (1.75oz) braid dyed as a neon gradient.
I wasn't happy with the results of the dyes I chose to use, so these are going in the 'Leftover' section.
Dyed by me using acid dyes on a base of 21mic Merino wool.
This Merino top/roving is suitable for felting and spinning.
You will receive a 150g (5.25oz) set like the one pictured.

My hand-dyed combed fibres are suitable for beginners and experienced spinners, and are ideal for needle felting and wet felting.
Please note:
After dyeing the wool, and my fibres have cooled, they are rinsed in room-temperature water to remove residual citric acid and to check for colourfastness. Exposure to hot water may cause some colour release (this is normal). To help preserve the colour, always wash finished wool projects gently in room-temperature water using a mild wool wash. Avoid hot water and agitation, unless you want your fibres to felt.
