Set #3. A moody mix of purples, oranges, greys, and browns.
This set contains 4 x 25g (0.88oz) art batts and 4 x 25g (0.88oz) hand-dyed 'braids' (top/roving)
The four braids have been hand-dyed on the following wool and silk blends:
70% Shetland wool & 30% Tussah silk: a mix of grey, teal, plum, and golden brown (Chrysalism)
70% Bluefaced Leicester & 30% Tussah silk: a mix of pale blue, aqua, pale lavender, and sandy brown. (Moth)
Cormo: a mix of orange, pink, grey, black, and golden brown (Dragon Kisses)
Punta Arenas: a gradient of purple, plum, gold, olive, and teal (Spellbound)
The four batts have been carded twice, and two of them are a gradient. They contain a mix of 21 and 23 micron Merino and approx 10% silk fibres, which could include Tussah silk, Mulberry silk, recycled sari silk, and silk noil).
These batts are not repeatable colourways ie I've not written a recipe or taken any notes, but similar ones will likely come up again. I've used the colours of my repeatable braid colourways as inspiration for the batts, and you can spin them all separately or mix and match when you ply them.
Batts weighs 25g (0.88oz) and they've been carded by me on my manual drum carder.
Braids weigh 25g (0.88oz) and have been hand dyed by me.
They'll come packaged in glassine paper bags.
