Description

This 'Leftovers' mini braid set is made up of 10 different colourways dyed on a Merino wool and tussah silk base (70%/30%). These are my most recent leftover colourways.

These minis are an ideal size for experimenting with, testing out different plies, creating fades, or adding a little touch to an existing project.

They are also suitable for felting.

Braids are unlabelled and don't have an 'official' name, but I do plan on recreating some of the colourways.

Each braid weighs approximately 25g (0.88oz)

Sets weigh 250g (8.8oz) in total and will come presented in a glassine paper bag.

You will receive a set like the one pictured.

Hand dyed by me with remnant dye stock.

Frequently asked questions

Do you collect tax?

I do not collect tax. Any customs charges will have to be paid by you once your parcel has reached your country. I am not registered for VOEC in Norway - Head over to my etsy shop where you can pay your fees when you checkout.

There's something I'd like but it's not available in your etsy shop

You can message me here or message me over on etsy and let me know which items you'd like. I'll then make you a special listing for them. I may have to increase the price as Etsy's fees are higher.

Ordering from the EU?

I'm no longer sending orders to the EU. I'm so sorry.

What sort of mailers do you use?

All my orders are currently sent in brown Kraft paper mailers - UK and international. I also use cardboard boxes and I may also reuse old boxes for larger orders. Kraft paper mailers are splash proof but they probably won't survive being left out in the rain. From years of sending plastic mailers, I can tell you that not even plastic mailers can keep the water out. If you can, please have a safe place for your parcel to be left - I'd be happy to write a note for the postie on the mailer.

How do you package your fibre?

Currently, all my fibres are packaged in glassine paper bags.

Glassine paper is easily recyclable, and also compostable

If I run out of glassine bags or I've had a big order, I may need to pack the fibre in to a large plastic bag to make it easier to send as it helps pack the fibres in tightly.

Is your Merino non-mulesed?

YES! and it always has been.

My batts are made from commercially dyed 21-micron Merino sourced from South American flocks.

My 23-micron belnded top is from non-mulesed South African Merino flocks.

My order hasn't arrived and I'm getting worried. What should I do?

Don't worry! Message me here by using the CONTACT button and let me know that your order hasn't arrived. We'll take it from there. Sometimes there are strikes, bad weather, and general mistakes that can really delay a parcel.
