Spinning and felting batts - Merino and Silk - 2 x 50g - ENCHANTMENT

2 x 50g (2 x 1.75oz)

80% 21 micron Merino wool / 20% Tussah silk

Made by me on my manual 'Classic Carder' drum carder. 

Enchantment is a gradient of vibrant lilac, blue, peacock, emerald, and green merino wool. Mixed in with darkest blue, purple, deep cerulean, and green tussah silk.

Carded three times for a smooth and silky blend. These batts are soft and lofty and should be ideal for spinning your favourite type of yarn.

You will receive 2 x 50g (2 x 1.75oz) batts.

Suitable for felting - Take care with using hot water as colours may bleed.

All my Merino is sourced from non-mulesed flocks.

Batts are packaged in a sealed, white slightly translucent glassine paper bag - these are recyclable and compostable (put them out with your paper recycling)

Please be aware that colours can vary between monitors. I've photographed these batts to show the colours and details as accurately as I can. Expect slight variations between batts.

Previously, my batts were made on a motorised drum carder and weighed 100g (3.5oz) each. I'm now using a manual drum carder, which produces 50g (1.75oz) batts. When you purchase, you'll receive a set of two 50g batts, still totaling 100g (3.5oz)

Please note: Some photos show my batts made on my previous motorised drum carder, which were larger in size. I've now switched back to my manual carder, and the current batts are shown in the updated photo. The same colours and fibres are used, they've just a different size.
